but in happier news i went to see Happy Feet yesterday...i took my sister and her friend Claire. I was supposed to be watching them around Dundee but they ditched me. Not too fussed it did give me time to go back to Borders! Sadly the free chocolate bar offer wasnt back on, and the hot guy was nowhere in sight. At least i got another book - The Handmaids Tale by Margaret Atwood. Comes highly recommended - thanks Mollie - and the cover was cool - very The Village those-we-dont-speak-of (once again Mollie!) And i got the Cutting Room by Louise Welsh too for £3 in Fopp. Unfortunately my mother went nuts and imposed a ban on buying books until after New Year! Just as well - i hear im getting book tokens!
But the film was great...everything you could have hoped for! ive been singing from it all day! Not going to spoil it for those that havent seen it...but you will love it!

Has been a rather unproductive week.
On the bright side, that cow has been removed from all of Daryls classes!
Shes definately a lot happier i can see it when were at school!
im thinking about complaining to the school about their dinners!
it costs £1.35 for a sandwich with next to no filling, a 330ml bottle of
water and a biscuit better suited for hammering nails into the wall!
It means i have to pay more money from my own pocket to get more food!
The dinner ladies are snide cows...i swear the SMT wanna make us slaves!
And i cant go down town at lunch because its so busy, by the time you get
served its too late to eat it!
When i get to the end of 6th year im gonna throw such a heavy brick at those
witches!
My mum has been obsessively watching Im a So Called Celebrity, Dont Let Me
Get Out Of Here!
i never understood the appeal of such trash...but my mother is the sort of
woman who prefers Big Brother to Doctor Who....surely a crime!
Thank god its the last episode tonight...damn though its on the same time as
8 out of 10 Cats and John Barrowman is a guest...i wanted to watch it to see
if he was as funny on it as he was on Never Mind The Buzzcocks("Lets Have A
Gay Off!")
My mother has also been pissed off at my habit of buying lots of books!
She says i buy too much...4 books in one go is not too much! And it was such
as good deal i couldnt help myself!
I got Starter for 10(hilarious), Little Children(Great, the movie is basically
a carbon copy of the book except for the ending...its so anti climatic in the
book, films is more gruesome and disturbing) And the Constant Gardener(aint
read that one yet) as part of 3 for 2 in Waterstones. Then i visited the new
Borders in Dundee. I swear this place ROCKS! its massive and has so many
books! I got Phantom of the Opera for £1.99 AND it came with a free bar of
chocolate...how could i refuse? Plus the guy who served me was hot!
I'll end up buying more tomorrow...Im going to see Happy Feet! All together...

I am getting so sick of that bloody high school!
today my sister refused to go to school. this was for 2 reasons. 1)her only
friend in her year, Claire, has left to go live in the borders so she feels
alone. 2)That bitch that hit her is still in her classes and shes too afraid
to go into school in case she gets beat up again. Daryl is actually shit
scared and doesnt feel safe, which is a rare thing since shes such a tough
cookie. But that school havent done fuck all about the situation. the only
reason shes been charged by the police is because my mum and dad went and
did it theirselves! The rector/rectum was supposed to call my mum today to
sort it out but guess what? he didnt! Oh, theyre quick enough to exclude my
cousin several times and treat him like a prisonr when he fights back but
when this girl hits my sister and scares him to within an inch of her sanity,
she is left to it!? yeah she was excluded but fat lot of good it did, shes
never here anyway! i just dont want Daryl to get hurt. shes seriously
considering going to one of the Perth high schools which are all like war
zones! What the fuck is up with the universe? i will kill that bastard of a
rector and his SMT witches!
in other news, am i the only one whos a massive Torchwood fan? i think its
great but one thing does bug me...Gwen is such a slut! she has a perfectly
nice boyfriend Rhys - he is a bit dim but hes just so loveable - and so far
shes kissed Jack - who'll shag anything the omnisexual minx - a girl - okay
it was an alien gas inside a woman that needed sex to survive and omitted
these aphrodisiacs but she was so loving it - and last night she shagged
Owen! Owen is such a jerk playboy and he knew she was taken but did that stop
him? NO! how can you like this girl Gwen when shes such a backstabber? More

Okay i cant be bothered to do a full blown report so this is the shortened
easy to read version of things that happened in my week!

*Children in Need day on wednesday
*6th year boys got their legs waxed including Daniel the rather lush head boy
who screamed like a girl!
*The police are charging the snot faced little whore who beat up Daryl!
Shes going to be put up in front of the Childrens Panel!
*No school on Thursday and Friday so i got to do nothing!
*My dads mouthing off of the school system when we went to this meeting for
5th and 6th years.It was a patronising borefest and my parents nearly fell
asleep!Mum actually said 'if you ever drag me to one of these meetings again
i will kill you!'
*Watching Quills on my mums bed eating biscuits and drinking tea.so civilised!
*Went to see The Prestige yesterday...Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman*thud*
were both brilliant...and sexy to boot (Hughs torso!:P)But it was a really
odd film. Did take my head a while to get around but i recommend it to all.
Its beautiful, gothic, mysterious and a challenge. But dont pay too much of
your attention to Scarlett Johanasson who spends so much time trying to keep
her wobbly English accent that she forgets to act!
*Bought American Gods by Neil Gaiman. This is the last chance im giving to
Gaiman (Anansi Boys and Stardust underwhelmed me majorly) but my philosophy
teacher highly recommended it.So far its great.Very epic.I keep buying books
and not reading them so ill need to calm the book buying...or just say theyre
for other people!
*Been listening to a lot of music lately. Extended my selection so it now
includea The Guillemots (Really weird. sort of like Sigur Ros), I'm From
Barcelona (so happy and cheery)and Amy Winehouse (bought her 1st album Frank
yesterday)
*Babysat my cousin last night so didnt get home till 3:30 and only got £10.
I'm upping my costs! But i did get to watch Alexander. it didnt deserve the
critical panning it got. Far too long (but it was the directors cut) but its
such a brave film. And Colin Farrell was a bisexual in a miniskirt with long,
blonde hair! so unintentionally hot!

WOW WOW WOW WOW...and wowowowowwwwwww!
I went to see Muse last night in Aberdeen and i can safely say it was one of
the most exciting nights of my life! Getting there was a bit dull though...
trying to create small talk with my dad was boring and impossible so i just
ended up texting Molls! My dad couldnt find the AECC so we drove around for a
bit...what is it with men and asking for directions? but we got there in one
piece and ate fish and chips in the car park! the place was packed to the top
and it was impossible to move! i did get a really cool black and white stripy
tshirt with birds ans a piano on it from the concert...twas £20 but at least
this way i dont need to buy a tshirt for my cousins 18th on Saturday! I could
not move a muscle in that place without being elbowed. The support band were
the Noisettes and they lived up to that name...very loud and manical but i
enjoyed them. The lead singer looked like she was possessed half the time.
But the worst bit was all the waiting around for it to begin...my feet were
aching before it had even begun!
But lo and behold they cam on with Knights of Cydonia and ROCKED! i was even
moshing a bit...well you had to or you got trampled! Wont spoil it too much
since Molls is going to see them live soon...but all i will say is it was so
amazing! I began to feel sick and gagged over a bin...oh the irony that at
that excat same moment i bumped into an old friend, Hannah, who has moved up
to Aberdeen years ago and disappeared. so nice to see her but it would have
been nice not to have been puking at the time!
It took us half an hour to get out of the car park, i didnt get home till 1am and i slept till 10am this morning - so no school - my feet are killing me
and im still tired...but id do it all again...will bug dad for another gig!

REASONS MY FAMILY NEED PSYCHIATRIC HELP:

* My dad got a black eye at the bowling club last night after starting a fight
with a guy twice his size because as he put it "he didnt like him!"
* So he's been walking around wearing my sisters sunglasses!
* Daryl bought 12 pairs of really tacky earrings from Claires for £2 today...
and theyre all hideous!
* Mum hasn't stopped complaining since this kitchen fiasco started
* My gran basically told me that i masturbate while im in the bath (If you've
seen Pleasantville youll know why she said it)
* Daryl went to see Rocky Horror last night wearing her Columbia outfit
* She basically shrieks every time she sees James Mcavoy (like today in
Waterstones on the Starter For Ten cover)
* My dad acts like he's 15...he spends hours on his XBox 360 and attempting
to play the guitar...he's also a Green Day addict!

And you know what...dont think id ever trade them for anything!

I was gonna put this up yesterday but i was too pissed off!
Yesterday i go up to see my mum in the french dept where she cleans to say hi.
But when i got there she wasn't there...i am then informed that Daryl is in
hospital! Apparently this girl who absolutely hates her grabbed her hair and
punched her in the face before dragging her down till she banged her head on
the window sill! she was taken to the hospital then the doctors. So, totally
panicking and pissed off i went to the doctors with Felicity and Rhona (both
were so scared for her...It was Rhona who told me what had happened...well
from rumours in her clas which were a bit muddled) to see her. It was only a
little bruise but its gotten bigger. She has to wear sunglasses to hide it.
But shes still the same daryl...milking the situation for all its worth. So
the police came round last night to take a statement. apparently the culprit
is getting dragged up in front of them for major action.
Theyd better be...im so pissed off at the school...where were the teachers in
all this? the girls been excluded but a fat load of good its gonna do because
shes never there anyway!
Loads of our teachers were asking for her...now im also sad because Daryl is
saying this is the last straw and she wants to move school...now i know im
always complaining of how annoying she is but i love her and i dont want her
to leave to another school...the pissing year heads dont give a shit as long
as the press dont find out...i might just leak it to fuck with them!
